چکیده

In this article, we revisit the concepts and tools of harmonic analysis control provide a rigorous mathematical answer to following question: When does an have representative in time domain? By mean domain that leads by sliding Fourier decomposition exactly same control. Harmonic controls do not such representatives lead erroneous results practice. The main article are: A one-to-one correspondence between ad hoc functional spaces guaranteeing existence representative, strict equivalence Caratheorody solutions differential system associated model, as consequence, general framework for linear periodic systems bilinear affine systems. proposed allows design globally stabilizing laws. We illustrate approach on single-phase rectifier bridge. Through example, show how one can laws guarantee disturbance rejection low content.

Necessary and sufficient conditions for parameter convergence in adaptive control

-Using Generalized Harmonic Analysis, a complete description of parameter convergence in Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) is given in terms of the spectrum of the exogenous reference input signal. Roughly speaking, if the reference signal "contains enough frequencies" then the parameter vector converges to its correct value. If not, it converges to an easily characterizable subspace in p...

Continuous-time Principal-Agent Problems: Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for Optimality∗

In this paper we present a unified approach to solving principal-agent problems in models driven by Brownian Motion. We apply the stochastic maximum principle to give necessary and sufficient conditions for optimal contracts, for both the symmetric information case and the hidden information case. We also make a distinction between the case of the utility from the payoff being separable or not ...

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for H-∞ Static Output-Feedback Control

Necessary and sufficient conditions are presented for static output-feedback control of linear time-invariant systems using the H∞ approach. Simplified conditions are derived which only require the solution of two coupled matrix design equations. It is shown that the static output-feedback H∞ solution does not generally yield a welldefined saddle point for the zero-sum differential game; condit...

Necessary and sufficient conditions for stability on finite time horizon

Control theory is often interested in studying stability and stabilization of dynamical systems in an infinite time horizon. However, in many practical situations, focusing on the system behavior in a finite time interval is more important than requiring the system to reach a given equilibrium. Analysis on finite time horizon can be useful, for example, to study state and output transients due ...
